Direct to Film (DTF) printing is an innovative and versatile printing method that involves printing designs directly onto a special film, which is then transferred onto various textiles and materials. This process starts with printing the desired image onto a PET film using specialized DTF inks. A layer of adhesive powder is applied to the wet ink, which is then heated to cure the adhesive and bond it to the ink. Once the film is ready, it is placed onto the fabric, and heat is applied using a heat press to transfer the design from the film to the material. DTF printing offers excellent color vibrancy, durability, and the ability to print on a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, and even non-textile surfaces. This method is particularly popular for creating custom apparel, promotional items, and intricate designs that require high detail and flexibility in material choice.
